I think I have managed to find some meaning. He's saying that the Tales series destroyed the RPG genre, and now that one is coming out for the 360, it will be destroyed a little further. All-in-all, it hurt a little.

Contrary to my biased standpoint, Tales of Vesperia actually looks awesome. I just wish I could play it :(

So you're saying you can understand his archaic dialect? I am amazed, that I am.

And how exactly did Tales destroy the RPG genre? Just because it has a different (read: action based) battle system doesn't mean it suddenly ruined RPGs somehow. There are plenty of classic RPGs still.

Saying Tales ruined RPGs is like saying RE4 ruined Survival Horror. Just because it's different doesn't mean it's bad.

Indeed. The envelope was made to be pushed, so to speak.

Well I'm happy some one can work out my crummy world filled with plot holes and spelling errors.

The reasion I said that Scizzoman...
Is the fact of I was never really intresting in that TYPE of RPG.
As many of us can see there are millions of RPG types.

Now to backup what I said so Scizzoman doesen't kill me.
You can like your game and I can like mine!
Don't try to change my type of gaming... or I'll kill!

I was just putting my opinion in there... like it matters anyway!

I don't like a lot of RPGs, as many of you know that.

Ummm... RE4 is a SH all they did was change the camera angle put in new aming and the story changed a little.
I know your trying to prove a point but RE4 is like the others, if your a true fan of RE you would a agree that RE4 made the new RE... and now they can make it more 3D

Yes, Tales would be the same for you.
You liked them all, so your going to like this one, maybe.
I understand that.

But I guess I can not like a game now?
People didn't like RE4 for one reasion (which is kind of gay when you think of it) is how the story was sooo off, or they didn't stick with the story!
This is why i'm pissed at people WHO THINK they know RE over RE4.
That is not good reasion!
PEOPLE NEED TO PLAY ALL 0, 1, 2, 3 TO UNDERSTAND NUMBER 4, WHICH THEY DID NOT!
THE STORY WAS AWESOME AND MAKE RE fans think, What they going to put in next?

So, if you wondering why I hate people over RE.
That would be why.

Now I have no reasion to not like Tales game... *Thinks for a bit*
I guess... I could like them.
Myself, I'm not a BIG RPG fan but I can't be that bad of ganes...

Thats my huge paragraph of the FREEKIN' DAY!
It may not makes sence.
I tryed my best to tell you why I don't like RPGs and whats RE4 to do with RE.

I think there are 2 kinds of RPG in one catagory, and then like 5 types in another, completely unrelated category. The, if you factor in quarters for a period of 10 years and consider property tax, then the investment may pay off after all.

Um. Yeah. See the point I was trying to make is that you didn't say "I don't like Tales", you said "Tales destroyed RPGs" . Yeah, it's different.

So the whole RE4 thing was because it's different from the other RE's (in a good way IMO), but still some people could say it destroyed RE.

... Well I take what I said about Tales.
I need to play it to deside I guess.

RE4 didn't destroy the RE it made it better!
The REs in the begining whern't that great (in the controls)
RE4 steped it up a little to make it more... action and it passed but it wasn't scarry enough.

Hopeing RE5 is scarry enough for me to not like to play it.

lol!

The original RE's controls kinda sucked, but I was used to them because the N64/PSX era had quite a few drive-controlled games, so I was used to it. They were definitely scary. RE4 had a different level of exhilaration, I feel. RE5 is taking the action to another level, it seems. While it is a good thing or not, I have no idea, but it looks like running into a giant mob and firing away. Looks more like a TPS than a survival-horror.
