Maybe I should have included a /sarcasm command.

Must I quote myself again? pl0x stay off this thread if you aren't talking about games you're playing (that we don't already know about)

Currently playing Chrono Trigger on the Wii.

Dug up my copy of Final Fantasy Chronicles for PS (which includes FFIV and CT), and I was going to play FFIV. Then I realized that I'd never really made any progress in Chrono Trigger back when I first played it.

I was at that awkward age where I absolutely sucked at RPGs, ran from every battle then gave up when I reached a hard boss and didn't touch it for months. Sorta like what I did on my first playthrough of FFXII, but back then I did it with basically every RPG.

So anyways I only got to the 2600 AD part, about 5 hours in on my first try. Decided to actually try to beat it and see why so many people call it one of the best RPGs ever.

Then when I put the disc in it showed the animated intro and froze. It's pretty scratched. Don't know how since it's almost never been out of the case. Anyway I ended up emulating it on the Wii.

And I can see why people like it so much. I haven't been this engrossed in a game since I first played RE4 last year. The battle system is unique and fun, the story is amazing, the characters are likeable (even Crono, despite being a silent protagonist), and it has aged remarkably well.

This is the kind of game that sucks you in and keeps you playing all day. And with plot related sidequests, bonus charcters, New Game +, and more than 10 alternate endings, it's going to last a long time.

I urge anybody who has even the slightest interest in JRPGs to give it a try. I hear there's a DS remake that was just announced a few days ago as well.

I plan on picking up the DS remake.

Currently, I am experiencing similar effects from a game. Recently my brother picked up a game he heard was good from one of his friends, perhaps you've heard of it. It's called Persona 3, and it's a sort of JRPG/Dungeon Crawler/Simulation game. It's the kinda game that's hard to put down, like a good book. Mostly because that's kinda how the game plays.

The game is for Ps2, and it plays mostly as a simulation, where you play as a High school student, forging relationships that in a normal game would do nothing, except in this game each relationship benefits a certain type of Persona, which is like your inner phyche, which helps you in your fast-paced RPG battles.

It's really quite fun, and I have to say that I've never been this engrossed with a game since TotA (I played yesterday for 10 hours O.o)

Other than that, I've been playing FFTA2 and Guitar Hero on the DS

P.S. I got a Ps3. Accept my friend request, Scizzo.

Wow awesome!

Btw thats what F.E.A.R. is for an FPS shoot you can really get into the story (most people are to stupid to understand the story) but theres 2 storys...
The boreing and gay story of you trying to kill Fedel and somehow your the only one... but it makes sence you see... you have freekin' powers of reflex and your strength I wont go into hard to exsplan but I'll tell you when I'm show you the game.

As you can guess I'm play F.E.A.R. again but on hard.

You got a PS3?

Awesome...

I kept meaning to check out Persona 3, but never really got around to it. It just got washed away by tons of other games. The downside to having so many consoles.

If it's that good maybe I'll check out Persona 4. It's supposedly coming out late this year, or early next year.

Anyway I'll shut up now since this really isn't on topic, just kinda responding to your posts and such.

Beat F.E.A.R.... on hard. Which wasn't AS hard as I thought (some parts are freekin hard because of them Robots... yes theres fily robot things and they shoot lasers at you which sound like Star Wars lasers. Best gun to use is the ... w/e that rifle is called but it's used by A LOT of enemys... but the acc is ok.

Now I'm going to play F.E.A.R. Exstraction Point, it's going to be a bitch to beat.

Also one of my fav lines is when the black guy and the... Karein Chick are talking... I'll show you, there funny but I'll tell you one line I like
she talks that she karian and raised in America then randomly the black guy goes "I like Kimchi" then she replys "I like Pizza" "pizzas good too"
