Everyone already knows what I'm playing, but I'll post anyway just to talk about it and make conversation.

Lunar - Silver Star Story Complete (PSX)

It's awesome. Great writing, extremely fun battle system, and good pacing. Dungeons are frequent enough that there's plenty of gameplay but short enough that you never feel like you're grinding or otherwise getting bored. Not to mention it's nice and colourful with great looking 2D graphics. And the more lighthearted fantasy atmosphere is the perfect thing after Xenogears, with its dark tone, futuristic world, and convoluted plot.

Did I mention the great writing? And the battle system.

Because they're awesome.

Not to mention some random references to Western pop culture, including "The name's Bond. Ramus Bond," Nall singing the first line of the chorus to "The Wind Beneasth My Wings," and a spell that apparently involves placing a filet of pickled fish on your forehead while chanting "I Am the Walrus" by The Beatles.

In other words the game kicks the asses of most of the other JRPGs out there.

also, only about 30-40 percent of jrpgs are good.
the rest either suck horribly or aren't even heard of.

I'm playing "The Last Remnant" Which is awesome because Rush (main character) is voice by the person who voiced Guy form TotA and Persona 4... non credited people... Well the main character going "Persona" and such.

Under jRPG, see JYB. There's quite a large section. Also, there's the Power Rangers.

Anyway, I'm currently playing a few things, and by a few things, I mean one thing. And I've beaten it...

Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2 (PS2)

They sure like their long names, eh? Even though the game has been conquered, there are still a multitude of extra bosses to punish for their existence. I shan't explain the game much, other than the fact that it is... different. It involves virtual reality, people turning into demons and eating each other, and really hard boss fights. Afterwords, I plan to play:

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne (PS2)
Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha versus King Abaddon.

King Abaddon better be a MASSIVE ABADDON.

If it's anything else I will be sorely disappointed.
