And also: keep something in mind:

ToS and TotA did not start off strong. You had to play them through to actually experience their greatness.

But I find the battles extremely fun, which makes up for it. MMOs tend to have terrible battle systems IMO.

Well, an MMO's battle system is like an in-between of Tales of and traditional turn-based RPG.

I don't understand how that could be a style you don't like, seeing as how to like the latter and the former's battle systems...

You have a point there, but for some reason I just don't find it fun.

The complete and utter lack of a proper story may also be part of it.

That`s so true. Sometimes I think I`m the only one who plays MMOs and actually PAYS ATTENTION to the lore.

Mmm MMOs were little kids go to be verbaly sexualy assulted ahh thats MMOs for yeah... And just you be clear a lot of MMOs arnt great! WoW is bad graphics and bad game play, and people who play it are assholes! Watch too many Youtube WoW videos. DDO is sometime WAAAAY to long of quests (take up most of you day..s) and well all the others arnt half as good... So really Scizzoman has a point and then he dosen't... But to clearafy YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW A GOOD MMO ANYWAY! like long ago "ÞLä§м@ $σµl™ play Runescape" "ÞLä§м@ $σµl™ play MU" Well I figgerd out i'm not listen to any of you... maybe Scizzoman he seems to have the gaming mind... maybe Death Seraph (maybe not) NOT Ryosuke! Sorry Ryosuke you have BAAAAAD games!

Yes. I have bad taste in MMOs. I only spent all the time my Wii was broken either on this forum or on MMORPG.com's forums.

I learnt a lot. People there don't flame. They can appreciate a good MMO for what it is. DDO is good, but it's not the best. WoW is good, but it's not the best. It could be good to one person but not another. An opinion is not meant to be forced, but to be voiced, and discussed.

Forcing an opinion is one of the definitions of flaming. And flaming is not tolerated.
