Well, I've decided that this board needs a Tales topic.

So here it is. For everything Tales related. Phantasia to Dawn of a New World, and whatever comes after that.

Vesperia is awesome. That is all.

Yeah... Besides that random DoaNW one that was just... random. And pointless.

Anyway, final dungeon of Vesperia is a bitch. Even properly leveled it has some of the hardest enemies I've fought so far, plus the entire thing is a freaking MAZE! You have absolutely no idea where to go. At all. I was reduced to wandering aimlessly. In fact I'm still lost trying to find the two Fell Arms that are apparently somewhere in there.

Argh. Fun dungeon thugh, some interesting puzzles and a fun mid boss. I actually like a challenging final dungeon in a game, feels more epic.

As long as it never reaches that level of difficulty where you seriously consider turning off the game and never playing it again. Like the last dungeon of Dark Cloud 1.

HOLY CRAP!

The last boss is <i>hard</i>! Jeez! I think I need to grind or something. His third form is lvl 82. With my party at about 63. And thet's if I even make it to his third form, since his secons form generally hands me my ass with his status effects and teleporting and his Mystic Arte that instantly reduces you to 1 HP.

newer ones arehave a WAYY better battle system than in symphonia fyi so yeah try em out.

That's 'cause newer ones have Free Run. But Symphonia is still t3h 4w3x0m3.

Next time you come over (possibly the weekend of my birthday) we could play Abyss also. And if Seraph can come he can bring another PS3 controller for some THREE PLAYER MADNESS
