Well I redid the first couple hours, and then some, and yeah, Xenogears is pretty damn awesome.

Well, except when the main character is being an angsty little bitch. But then he usually balances out those moment with moments of epicness.

Like after the first time he starts acting that way, he immediately turns around and uses a giant robot to beat up a dragon. Let me repeat that. <i>He uses a giant robot to beat up a dragon.</i>

Anyway it's a good game. Not sure where exactly the story is going though. Battle system is like a slightly dumbed down Chrono Cross, graphics are good, it's decently challenging without being frustration, and the writing is good.

Some moments mde me laugh though, just because they were so obviously meant to be "ZOMG EPIC." For the most part they succeded. But when you see an evil giant robot standing with crossed arms on a dark spire of rock silhouetted against a red moon you start to wonder if maybe they're taking it too far.

Anyeay, good game, worth playing, et cetera.

<i><b>Edit:</i></b> New sig. Whee. It's no longer massive and obnoxious. Had a hard time placing the text in this one so I'm not entirely happy with it, but whatever. I like the way the Weltall (the Gear in the background) turned out, jut because the picture I was working with was blurry any full of artifacting and generally looked like <i>shit.</i> Actually almost all the Xenogears pictures I could find were pretty much crap.

Unlike Scizzoman just a few days ago, I know EXACTLY what I am going to play from now until... at least mid-May. I just finished Devil Summoner, so next I will rent Star Ocean for a week and beat it. After that, on March 13th, it'll be RE5. On March 29th, I'll move onto FFCC:EoT. Then, after ordering them off of Amazon sometime in March, I will play DDS 1 and 2. After that, on May 9th, I will be playing Devil Summoner 2. In between, I will be looking for Nocturne in the hopes that I will someday play it.

All in all... a lot of RPGs in there...

Well you've got quite the schedule there.

I'm just gonna be playing Xenogears 'til I beat it, then moving on to another one. Most likely Grandia or Lunar.

I'll obviously be getting RE5 when it's released, though I don't expect it to last particularly long. Considering it comes out on the last day of school before spring break, and ÞLä§м@ $σµl™ and I may well be playing it all that weekend, I don't expect it to last more than a few days.

That isn't to say it won't still be fun. I'll keep coming back just like I did with RE4. I'm just saying I'll most likely be able to move on pretty quickly and start the next RPG.

Well, as a quick update to my list of upcoming games, I will be playing SMT: Devil Survivor come its stateside release in June.
