Yeah as the title says, I've had a sudden realization of truth.
I Just got back from Camp Brave. You guys probably don't know what it is.
It's a camp hosted by an organization called youth for christ.

Be warned. this is all true, I'm not just making this up. If you laugh, you laugh but remember this is coming from the bottom of my heart.

Camp Brave has changed my perception of life. It's completely brought me closer to God amazingly. I say amazingly due to the fact that I used to go to mass because I was forced to. not because I wanted to, it used to just be for the sake of being there.

On the first day, I was nervous. I didn't know anyone there, I had no idea who anyone was except for my cousins and raph. In the beginning I didn't know what to expect. so we went into the common room. I saw a band in the front and was wondering because usually church doesn't have drums and electric guitars.

they explained that one thing they say in yfc is that singing is twice praying. I understood at least that fact. so we sang songs, but not just your ordinary mass songs that usually make you fall asleep but songs that sound ... modern. in that way I guess it made me closer to everyone else there. we were all singing for one thing. God. we all wanted him to hear us.

I'm not gonna say too much due to the fact that you guys will probably just laugh.

while you're laughing in your seat cracking jokes at this, I want you to imagine this:
imagine a room full of people singing and praying their hearts out. singing so loud to try and get God to listen to them. singing and praying together without caring who was watching them. holding hands, comforting each other. just think about it.

what if the world was like this.
