Vampire Cure:
Once you start turning into a vampire a message should pop up indicating your person had a nightmare. (You have to sleep or wait for it to pop up.) {Every 24 hrs your vampisim gets worse, try feeding on a sleeping NPC but do not feed on a town guard, its against the law.
There are 4 stages of vampisim but feeding comes it down.}
Talk to a priest at a temple (any temple I bereave) say "Vampisim" He'll say talk to Reminus Polus.
You'll have to go to the Arcane University, (in the imperial city) talk to Reminus Polus located just inside (The only door you can go into if not a member of the university.)
He'll tell you to go to a Skingrad and talk to the count, in the castle. (He's not just in the hall you have to talk to Hal-Liurz and tell her to get the count for you, say "Vampire cure" and she'll get him for you.)
He'll tell you there's a witch to go to, which you have to walk or ride a horse to Draklowe. (It's located on your map, just follow the arrow.)
Go into the house and talk to the witch named Melisande.
She'll tell you to get 5 empty Grand Soul gems (they "have" to be empty.)
Now the trick is... to "have a lot of money" go to the Mages Guild throughout all the cites, seek out the alchemist who sell them (usually is at least 1 epmty Grand Soul gem available.)
{Also some Alchemists don't set up shop until a time period, usually about 1 or 2pm.
There is one town that does not have an alchemist in the Mages Guild}
Once you have all empty Grand Soul gems, go back to Draklowe, (you can fast travel there now) talk to Melisande and give her the empty Grand Soul gems.
Then, she'll tell you, you have to get the ingredients for the potion.
Blood of a Argonian. {The lizard looking like dudes.}
She gives a you special dagger, go to Leyawiin or Bravil (Try Leyawiin first) find an Argonian and stab him or her, with the special dagger Melisande gave you. (This may cost jail time or money.) {You can find scavengers that are Argonian... but that takes time and effort.}
Bring the dagger back to her.
Now the 6 cloves of garlic, go around the cites and search around the shops and in the Taverns, also try to Mages Guild Alchemists.
Now the 5 Nightshade.
Their a wild plant and you can find them near Bravil.
Around that area.
Its a purple flower, in which is stands tall because of the stem.
Not that hard to find.
The easiest way is, just to go to the Arcane University, I suggest just joining the Mages Guild and getting into the university. (Join the Mages Guild, details are in the board.)
Also try the Mages Guild Alchemists.
Give Melisande the cloves of garlic and the Nightshades.
Now the hardest part.
You have to kill a powerful vampire and get his Vampire dust. (She gives you a location.)
{By the way, he wasn't "that" powerful, sadly I fought a bears strong them him.}
Bring back the Vampire dust to Melisande.
Now the "really hard" part, 2 Bloodgrass.
Only found in Oblivion... Well, that's true "but" there are other ways, I found a person in the Arcane University that sells Bloodgrass, also a quest that triggers her so you don't have to be a member. (Tears of the Savior, details are in the board.)
Her name is Julienne Fanis, she sells Bloodgrass.
I just found out a new place to get it, in Skingrad go to the West Weald Inn, inside there's another door that leads to the cellar.
The door is called "Sinderion's Cellar" go inside and talk to him and check his inventory (Seeking Your Roots.)
Give the Bloodgrass to Melisande.
Then your done, drink the potion and bring the other potion back to the count.
(Talk to Hal-Liurz like before but this time you have to follow her.)
Give the count the potion.
Then wait 24 hrs talk to Hal-Liurz she'll get the count, talk to him again and he gives your reward. {mine added up to about three grand, the amount that i spent on Grand Soul gems and other items involving the quest... plus a little extra.}
Items list:
5 empty Grand Soul gems,
Blood of an Argonian,
2 Bloodgrass
6 Cloves of Garlic,
5 Nightshades,
1 Powerful vampire dust.
Most of the Gamefaqs walkthrough didn't explain shit!
Especially the Bloodgrass part, people in gamefaqs seem to think Bloodgrass is "only" in Oblivion.
Note: I didn't want to spoil the quest so I left out a lot of the dialog, just told the basics of the quest.
Level does not matter, seeing how the game responds with what level you are.
Also the many, many edits where do to my spelling/grammar errors, also the fact that I keep finding out new info.
This is the first walkthrough I did, if I did it good or bad then tell me.... maybe I'll do walkthroughs on my free time...
If its good.
