Seriously? On your laptop?

I've never seen a lappy with more than 200-something on their normal hard drive. And that was the high end version of the Macbook Pro. Possibly the most ridiculously expensive laptop in the history of forever.

In any case it's not like you can't switch out the hard drive. And Ryosuke's apparently using an external HDD.

But we're getting off topic here.

Yeah, but that's a comp. Laptops tend to be much smaller. They use different types of hard drives.

Anyway I'm gonna stop posting off topicness now since I'm not even sure how we got to talking about this.

tbh memory is nothing to me when it comes to a laptop due to all my games being run off an external hard drive.

Apparently Acer is decent but I haven't found one for a good price yet.

so yeah, I guess I'll stick with HP for now.

.. I probably would go for Dell Or HP...
Asus is better at making PC's than Laptops.
My Dad and Uncle have Dell's and both of them haven't had any problems...
The service is also ok but HP has better service.
Dell is good for Gaming and using high-end programs while HP is good for music, movies and such..(Mediacenter laptop thing).. and is more for people who work and like to watch tv and stuff on their laptop.
Apple laptops are ok if you don't mind spending tons of money cause Apples aren't that cheap, and i don't think that you can't customize your Apple (add harddrive or such) to your apple .. but i might be wrong..

It all depends on what you want to do.
I would go towards the Dell ..
They are good and are very affordiable

NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR OPINION!
EXPECTANTLY ME!

Don't listen to him go with w/e you what to go for.

Also idk why you wouldn't buy a new comp... if you get good deals for the parts your new comp will come to about a little over 1000 bucks.

Also, you truly are dumb man, (not Ryosuke) Laptop brands have nothing to do with anything it what the laptop has in it.
Like a computer...
But I have to say Dells are shitty though, HPs are good laptop but gaming on a laptop I have to say is a pain in the ass.

You can customize your laptop? *brakes open* THE PART.... THEY DON'T FIT CAPTAIN!
MY LAPTOP!
NOOO!

NO NOT LISTEN TO HIM IF YOU DO "I WILL DESTROY YOU... AHHHHH!!!! ... AND STOP CALLING"

Brands may not matter, but brand preference is what this topic/poll is semi about :P

Helll, if you just want a desktop with 3 gigs of RAM and a decent video card you won't even need to fork over 1000. My comp was 500, bought 2 gigs of RAM (to bring it up to 4) a power supply (to keep it from exploding) and a video card (to appease my unquenchable thirst for power... and smoothness) and it was still under 1000.

But, Ryosuke's getting this laptop for school, not gaming, so I say go for what your heart tells you is right, and you will find your true path.

Even though your heart is just a means to pump blood. Here, lemme rephrase that:

Go for what your brain tells you is right, and you will find your true path.
