Well, new eps of The Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, and some new show calles Unhitched were on this evening.
Family Guy continued its downward decline with a fairly tasteless story in which Brian lost control and tried to rape Lois. I mean, back in the early seasons they showed Brian's love of Lois in a more tasteful way, now it's implying, like, bestiality or something. Pretty sick. Peter's story (where he gets drunk and marries Nathan Lane) could've been pretty damn funny, but unfortunately it took a back seat to Brian's disturbing one. On the plus side, Herbert the pervert was actully funny for once, and Stewie had some random lines.
Wow, the FG rant went on for awhile.
King of the Hill was about as good as King of the Hill ever gets, but I never consider it that great since I'm not really a fan of the show. It was pretty funny though. KotH is one of the shows that has actually gotten quite a bit funnier over time.
The Simpsons is getting better. In tonight's episode, Homer and Marge's story was pretty crappy, and it ended pointlessly and abruptly. It seemed like the writers just said "well, the episode is almost over, better wrap up Homer's story ASAP" so it feels really rushed, pointless, and it just doesn't make any sense. On the other hand, I actually found Bart's story very funny tonight. They used a lame bit character named Donny to create the focus of the story, but it was quite well written, and overly serious in a funny way. With Homer's lame story and Bart's great story, I'd say it averaged out to be s good episode.
End long ass post.
Discuss.
